Honduran admitted his presence in the US is unlawful following West Virginia State Police. 30-year-old Honduran, Elmer Hernandez, will be detained for up to two years following his admission to an immigration crime in Beckley federal court. He pleaded guilty to the felony offense of re-entry of a detained Immigrant. A car was parked outside of Beckley with its emergency blinkers on and three men were standing close it, according to a release by a West Virginia State Police Trooper. The men rushed into the car and began to drive away as soon as the sight the trooper moving close. The trooper stopped the car and engaged the driver. The driver who had no driver's license could not explain what was happening as requested because of the language barrier, the Trooper said. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) provided a translator service when contacted by the Trooper. The men were after that taken into custody and fingerprinted following the discovery that they are illegal immigrants in the US.
