A recent report circulating around the United States is that the frequency of apprehensions across the US border with the country of México has plummeted by around 93% since the beginning of December.
From the statistics made available by the Nation’s Department for Homeland Security, the number of individuals arrested in their attempt to come into the country without proper documentation was about 16,000 people.
Those apprehended in the month of March totaled around 1,100.
The department is attributing the drop in undocumented migration to the president of the United States’ strict laws on migration. News agencies in the nation are crying foul and pointing to the possibilities of a fresh batch of policies being implemented that may see even more dastardly acts befall undocumented migrants. They fear that these acts include things as extreme as separation of an infant from its mother.
