Telephone Fraudsters’ Hits Expats With Demand For Visa Cash

Many foreigners who had visited the Netherlands for doing the job have been victims of internet fraudsters who pretended to be employees from immigration service.

In few cases, the foreigners were told that they were having problems with their residency permits and they would remove from the nation if they don’t pay them. In others, they had simply told they would have to leave the country.

The crooks appear to got detailed data about the individuals they were calling that includes their passport number etc.

According to a victim, he was told that there were few problems with this visa and they know his email address, passport number and the date he came to Netherlands.

The immigration service had opened a helpline for individuals who think they have fallen victim to the tricks.
