Indian with Fake Australian Visa Arrested with Agent at IGI Airport

An Indian passenger aiming to reach Sydney was arrested as he possessed a fake Australian visa and was accompanied by the agent who allegedly took Rs 10 lakh for facilitating the travel as per the statement of CISF officials. Additionally the staff of CISF surveillance team observed apprehensive activities done by two passengers in the area of check-in at Terminal-3 in the IGI Airport.

Sharp reflexes lead to nabbing

Rahul Kumar, was Sydney bound, by using the Air India flight and Ravinder Singh, was Mumbai bound, and both had to be put under electronic and manual surveillance. Also it was noticed that Rahul was disallowed for check-in by the staff of airline, owing to carrying the Fake Visa. He was captured by the officials, and an enquiry has commenced.  Ravinder was serving as an agent entered in terminal to help Rahul. Ravinder provided the fake visa plus the travelling documents to Rahul after taking Rs 10 lakh, as per the officials.

Rahul travelled to Doha through Kathmandu with a tourist Visa in September on the orders of Ravinder so that he is considered as a genuine passenger, for the travel to Australia, as there is  a stamping of foreign travel on his passport.

The conclusion

Both the culprits were afterward handed by the CISF to the Delhi Police. Finally, a case was registered under the Indian Penal Code provisions.
